Administrative Support (Part-time) - Job Description
To provide administrative support to the Admin Team who support the Directors and Surveyors.

To help implement office procedures.

The work requires a professional approach with both good written and oral communication skills.

You will need to demonstrate word processing/typing skills and have a basic understanding of how to use IT and office equipment.

Good organisational and presentation skills are an asset with the ability to multi-task, and work under pressure.

Training will be given on administrative procedures.


Responsibilities

As administrator support, you will:
- be organised, self-driven and demonstrate initiative
- use Microsoft WORD processing package
- audio and copy type
- photocopy, scan and print various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues
- file and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information
- create and maintain filing and other office systems
- book meetings and/or conferences on behalf of colleagues
- liaise with staff and with external contacts
- organise travel and accommodation for staff.

You may also be required to carry out the following duties:

  • use a variety of software packages (including Excel, Access and PowerPoint) to manage data and produce documents, reports and presentations
- use content management systems (CMS) to update internal databases


Working hours
2 or 3 days (max. of 24 hours per week).

  • The role is busy and can be pressured, since the work is always focused on the needs of the Surveyors and Clients.
  • Deadlines may be imposed suddenly, demanding flexibility and reprioritisation of workload.
