Job Description:


Job Duties

  • Assist on individual Building Surveying, Project Management, and Contract Administration commissions.
  • Fully involved in the production of drawings, specifications and tender documents.
  • Survey and Report writing for the full range of typical core professional Building Surveying services.
  • Construction monitoring and snagging assessments.
  • Continuous improvement to our standards, processes and knowledge to deliver to our core clients.
  • Financial, commercial and risk management from project inception through to completion on own projects.

Experience:


  • Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent client and team interpersonal skills. Manages and coordinates all phases of surveying projects.
  • Prepares cost estimates and proposals.
  • Project manages own projects.
  • Manages client requirements.
  • Invoices clients.
  • Completes required tasks with mínimal supervision.
  • May supervise multiple surveyors and groups of subcontractors.
  • May manage subconsultants to work safely and comply with the requirements within scope of work.

Qualifications:


Minimum Requirements

  • Have some experience of multiple aspects of surveying from design work to condition surveys, feasibilities, and contract administration
  • Preparation of Schedules of Work and Specifications for all types of maintenance and construction projects
  • Experience working and building relationships within the private and public sector
  • Produce feasibility and concept reports
  • Management of sub consultants and contractors
  • Manage the delivery of contract administration services
  • Compile and monitor project costs in line with approved budgets
  • Promote the RICS APC and support staff through their APC

Preferred Qualifications

  • Be educated to at least degree level or equivalent, in a Building Surveying RICS accredited degree
  • Have post degree experience
  • Have excellent client facing experience
  • Be passionate about Building Surveying and furthering your career with a leading construction consultancy
