Job Overview:

We are currently looking to recruit a production supervisor to assist and oversee the running of our busy powdercoating workshop, ensuring quality, efficiency and productivity.

Duties:

Supervise and manage a team of operatives
Allocate workload and monitor progress to meet deadlines
Communicate any processing and / or quality issues encountered directly to the production management team
Liaise with production management team on effective daily manning
Inspect the work during runs and prior to dispatch
Maintain inventory levels and have necessary materials ordered
Managing production schedule as required
Train new employees on shop procedures and safety protocols
Ensuring your team maintains a clean and efficient work environment
Cover for production manager when absent
Any other duties as designated by production manager

Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a paintshop or similar environment
Ability to motivate a team
Strong leadership and communication skills
Numerate and literate
Proficiency in managing schedules and prioritising tasks
Knowledge of powdercoating is advantageous but not essential.
Must be able to ensure quality is maintained to a high standard.
Driving license necessary, sometimes we will require supervisor to attend our sister company for staffing support when needed.
Forklift license advantageous

Work pattern:
Mon-Thu Fri pm

Overtime when required.

£25,000-£28,080.00 per year
