Description
We have partnered with a business on the South Coast who are looking for a Project accountant to join the team on a 3-6 month basis to undertake a number of important projects


You will be reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the board and other line managers You will be able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently.


The role will involve:

  • Supporting the Finance Director in setting up and running projectspecific accounting processes and business changes
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and business plans
  • Managing the project budget and ensuring the accuracy of financial information
  • Analysing project costs and forecasting future expenses
  • Preparing and presenting financial statements and analyses
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Identifying areas of improvement within the business and suggesting solution's
To be considered for this role you must possess:

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Proven project Accounting experience
