Chelsea House, an award-winning, high-quality 9 bedroom bed and breakfast in Falmouth, offering 5-star service to guests has a Housekeeping vacancy.

We are open and recruiting now for an experienced Housekeeper in readiness for the 2024 season.

The person we are looking for is an experienced housekeeper.

You will be familiar with delivering high standards of cleanliness with a keen eye for detail in a timely manner.

Housekeeping shifts begin at 10am and finish between 11.30 and 2pm each day, this can change and vary, dependent on needs.

We are open 7 days a week and are looking for someone to join and enhance an experienced team.


Personal qualities include being reliable, committed, an eye with excellent attention to detail, working efficiently, and with a good level of health and fitness.

You are effective when both working on your own and as part of the team. You will need to work well under pressure.


Tasks include:

  • Follow our housekeeping standards to ensure all guest expectations are exceeded.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues as and when identified.
  • Strip, and clean all departing rooms and set up for new guest arrivals.
  • Service inhouse rooms.
  • Clean all public front of house areas.
  • Clean all back of house areas.
  • Follow procedures for removing and storing dirty laundry.
  • Keep housekeeping storage areas stocked and clean.

£11.00-£12.00 per hour
