Senior Software Engineer

The Role
An cutting edge client of ours who specialises in test automation tools for the data storage industry.

The end client is growing rapidly and now are in need of motivated Senior Software Engineer to develop cutting edge test products.

This is a leading role in the architecture and implementation of our latest generation of software products.
This will include elements from specification al the way through to development, final testing and release.

You would be working with a highly skilled team of both software and hardware engineers and working across a range of languages.

Java is our main requirement, they also operate in Python, C# and pure C.

Main responsibilities will include:

Development of software for industry leading products
Architectural design of major new features

This job is a full-time, permanent position.

Your experience

You must have:

Java development experience
Processed and manipulated large datasets
Worked as part of a larger development team
Excellent English and communication skills
Attention to detail and a focus on the quality of your work
Ability to plan your time to balance multiple deadlines

Desirable:

JavaFX
Maven
C, C# or Python
Hardware or embedded software development background, including hobbyist
