Ashley & McDonough require an experienced Commercial Plumber / Fitter based in the North West

  • 40 hours per week plus overtime available
Cards-In

  • Van, uniform,

Responsibilities:


  • Plantroom Installations
  • Reactive maintenance repairs
  • Fault finding on commercial heating & hot water systems
  • Experience working on reactive commercial heating & plumbing maintenance
  • Cut and thread pipe to specifications, using relevant tools.
  • Assemble and secure pipes,tubes, fittings, and related equipment
  • Work off own initiative.
  • Working on sites around the North West
  • Working mainly in communal sheltered housing schemes
  • Commercial pipefitting / plumbing installations, repairs and minor installation work.
  • The vast majority of works will be within plant rooms with all associated equipment, hence a working knowledge of heating distribution and ventilation systems is essential.
  • Soil vent pipe & rainwater

Requirements of the Plumber:


  • City & Guilds NVQ 2/3 in Mechanical Building Services (Plumbing/Mechanical Certs)
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Read work from drawings,
  • Work within Health & Safety guidelines.

Salary:
£35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
