The Apprenticeship


As an apprentice, you will gain experience within a number of different sub-teams in Belfast Finance, including but not limited to, Accounting & Reporting, Accounts Payable, Credit Control and Revenue.

Belfast Finance is part of the Allen & Overy Support Services Centre which was established in 2011 to provide services to the A&O network.


The firm in partnership with Belfast Metropolitan College will be committed to investing in your training to enable you to gain Level 5 qualifications and beyond.


The qualification associated with this apprenticeship is Accounting Technicians Ireland Level 5 Diploma for Accounting Technicians.

The apprenticeship will commence in September 2024.

Who we are looking for
Previous relevant experience is not required but applicants must possess:

  • You must also have minimum Grade B/6 in GCSE Maths and Grade C/4 in GCSE English (or equivalent).

Successful applicants will be invited to attend an assessment day at the A&O Belfast office on 3rd or 4th April 2024
