Change Public Practice are delighted to be partnering with a Glasgow based Accountancy practice who are looking to add an Audit and Accounts professional to join their team.

This is a newly created role to support the ongoing growth of the business, supportingon both statutory client engagements as well as assisting on accounting work.

The firm have a long-standing presence in Glasgow with staff who have progressed from Trainee through to Partner.

Their client varies from loyal, traditional businesses to brand new sectors and so there is a lot of variety on offer.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Audit and/or Accounts professional with a background within Practice, and who has previous experience working with sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charities.

Those from a 100% audit or accountingfocussed role will be able to diversify their experience with support from the wider team.

Key responsibilities include:

Involvement in all stages of audit including planning, fieldwork and completion
Leading the audits, working with junior colleagues and reporting back to SLT
Preparation of statutory annual accounts for partnerships, LLPs, smaller businesses and charities
Preparing business and personal tax returns and VAT returns
Producing management accounts including providing accurate financial and cashflow projections

To be considered for this role:

ACCA/ICAS Qualified or Part-Qualified
Previous experience of Audit planning and fieldwork is key
Have strong experience in the preparation of annual accounts for sole trader, partnerships and limited companies would be ideal, although training is available
