Special Educational Needs School

Are you a qualified teacher with SEN experience? Do you want to working in a nurturing, caring and dynamic special educational needs school? This school are looking to add a Special Needs Teacher to the team to teach small classes of KS3 children with additionalneeds.

You will be joining a team of experienced Special Needs Teachers and receive outstanding support from Teaching Assistants who love what they do

As a Special Needs Teacher at this school you will be responsible for delivering schemes of work across the curriculum, building rapport with students, managing behaviours and deploying TA's to support where required.

The school are happy to consider an SpecialNeeds Teacher form either a primary or secondary background and are looking for a positive role model for it's students.

This role requiresQTS or QTLS teaching status and experience working with SEND.


Role:


  • Teaching classes of Key Stage 3 children with a variety of additional needs, including Autism, MLD and Complex Needs
  • Utilising a highly experienced team of Teaching Assistants
  • Following a primary teaching model, teaching across the curriculum
  • Delivering lessons that make learning fun
  • Ensuring that children's needs are met and your knowledge of SEN is current
