Pyramid8 is delighted to be supporting a well-established, Plant & Fleet company. They are looking for an experienced Plant Fitter Supervisor to join their outgoing and diverse team.


As a key member of the regional operational team, you will provide effective service delivery through management of mobile engineers, including mentoring, training, and auditing of the team.

This opportunity is mainly field based, travelling to North Englandand Scottland.

You will be managing a team of approximately 10 fitters/engineers, scheduling workload, ensuring jobs are completed to a high standard, providing any support the team need, and carrying out spot checks on site.

You will be responsible for ensuringthe team, and yourself abide by Health and Safety regulations and dealing with any issues that arise.

It will be your responsibility to ensure that all vehicles, plant, and equipment are maintained mechanically and visually. You will implement new policiesand procedures, ensuring all team members are up to date and knowledgeable of these policies. You will also be responsible for checking timesheets and dealing with any discrepancies.

This Opportunity will be ideal for a someone who has managed a team of fitters/engineers within the Plant Industry.

You must be competent in the use of diagnostic equipment to support the team with issues they may not be able to solve themselves.

It is essentialthat you have obtained an Engineering qualification and are able to share your knowledge & skillset with the team.

You must have the ability to prioritise own, and the team's workload, be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

In return you will receive a basic salary of up to £45K, with a generous annual bonus.

You can also take part in their cycle to work scheme. Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, 40-hour week, although you must be flexible to work longer hours when required.
