We would suggest that this role would be best performed as 3 out of 5 days a week in the office on average.

What will you receive by working at Finance Box?
Full time salary range is between £30,000 and £35,000 per annum, based on full-time position and experience.

We offer 20 days holiday, plus the 8 days bank holidays. We also offer a day of extra holiday for your birthday as unquestioned, automatically approved time off.

As long as we have cover in place, we are a flexible company allowing our team to take holiday when they need it - this mean that you can work on a bank holiday and instead take a day off another time.

Why not... you choose when you work

The opportunity in the team is full time (Monday-Friday) to be the support our clients need.

However, we also recignise that the start of the month can be quiet, so we're open to discussing a part-time/reduced hours option if this suits you.

We'll contribute to your pension scheme at 3%.


We organise team events at least twice a year, to get together and get to know each other better on a personal level.

Some previous events have been BBQs, games day, dinners.


What will you be asked to do at Finance Box?
For all this, we'll need some work to be done in return. Here's what we currently need your support with.


You will:

  • Managing workload balances considering priorities and deadlines
  • Maintaining oversight on data quality, service levels and consistency
  • Manage team capacity as the company grows, resource allocation and new hires
  • Become our inhouse payroll expert to grow a resource to our clients as well as a service for our larger clients.
  • Onboarding clients: generally embedding the client into our processes. In some cases, this may include setting up and building the required templates.
  • Tracking team deliverables as well as contributing to any design or internal reporting requirements.
  • CRM maintenance to ensure data is relevant, up to date and reliable.
  • Team support for routine admin tasks to support client requirements.
  • You will have the ability to communicate effectively and confidently at varying levels with our clients.
  • Admin adhoc and general administration assistance as needed from time to time by clients as well as marketing support to help promote the services


The majority of the above would be routine work and would be making use of workflows, automations and templates already tried and tested within the team.


Platforms you will be using;


At Finance Box we believe that every superhero needs a sidekick - and our sidekicks are the apps we use in our processes.

We use many apps, but mainly the following;

  • BrightPay (required)
  • Microsoft Office
- macOS

  • Xero
  • Senta
  • Slack
You will be given training on these, but knowledge of these before you start with us would be advantageous.
