Team Overview:


Global Functions Technology (GFT) provides innovative technology solutions supporting all key corporate functions globally to ensure Citi meets its regulatory commitments whilst providing a systems framework to enable risk mitigation, fiscal responsibility, asset protection and production assurance across all lines of defense including compliance, data management and human resources.

The GFT organization in Belfast is well established, with 280 staff currently, and significant growth plans to support an increased demand for designing and building outstanding technology solutions.


Role Overview:


Responsibilities:


  • Work in close partnership with the GFT Belfast senior leaders locally, as well as EMEA and global leaders to create, execute and support on Belfast site strategic plans for the GFT organization
  • Support key GFT site priorities such as Recruitment & Capacity Management (including Graduate & Apprenticeship programs), Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Learning and Development
  • Assist in implementing Program Management Quality Control and Global Engineering Excellence Initiatives
  • Create KPIs and reporting for presentation to senior management including ad hoc administration tasks that support the activities of the business including PowerPoint presentations and excel analysis
  • Identify areas for process and lean improvements, and gain buyin from management & stakeholders to implement these changes
  • Work as part of a global team to define and implement site management best practice
  • Learn the overall business landscape including initiatives at site level alongside Citi processes for budgeting, recruiting & vendor management
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of GFT supported business functions and GFT technology solutions, including Trade Surveillance, KYC, Finance, Risk, Data, and Information Security
  • Exposure to a diverse and exciting IT solution delivery portfolio, including new and emerging technology solutions and practices, and exposure to a range of IT disciplines such as Data Science, Cloud Computing, and R&D

Skills and experience:


  • Outstanding relationship skills with the ability to partner and work collaboratively with all groups, developing productive and trusted relationships with staff at all levels
  • Analysis and decision making able to identify and understand the primary issues, problems and opportunities and develop appropriate solutions
  • Ability to independently manage projects / programs as needed
  • Exhibit sound communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information
  • Excellent communications skills (written / verbal) at all organizational levels
  • Results/task orientated with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and followup skills and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to manage and prioritize effectively and resolve conflicting priorities
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and autonomously
  • Strong MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Data Analytics skills and Visualization Tool experience advantageous
