KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Determine and prepare daily packaging requirements for production
Complete all necessary administrative tasks concerned with packaging, e.g. stock counts, traceability records, bar codes, pallet numbers
Ensure the pack store is kept clean and tidy and pallets and packaging are stored in an organised manner
Receive return packs and store according to correct procedures
Shunting trailers on and off bays
Assist the packaging supervisor when required to include forklift duties
Unloading of packaging deliveries and ensuring placed in appropriate area with rotation.
Monitor compactors and remove waste when required
Power hose car park and loading bay areas of factory regularly
Ensure yard and entrance areas are clear and clean at all times
Wash egg collection vehicles within agreed timescales
Adhere to health and safety, hygiene and traceability procedures
Cover and assist the Packaging Supervisor where necessary
Ensure sufficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments including production
