Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled flexographic Printer to join our growing team.


Hours: 41.25 per week 2-week rotating shift pattern


Mornings:
Monday - Friday


Afternoons:
Monday - Friday


Salary:
From £30,800


We are offering a competitive salary, overtime hours, and a quarterly bonus scheme after 6 month service, with the potential to grow and develop within the team.

22 days holiday, plus bank holidays - incremental with service after 2 years.
Company Pension
Incremental salary range - Increases over time with training and development.


Operational Responsibilities:


  • Set up, adjust, maintain, and operate a flexographic 2 colour printing press:
  • Installation of stereos/printing plates into the anilox rollers, ink management, making necessary machine adjustments during production and machine maintenance to maintain the quality of production.
  • Monitor and control print quality including ink viscosities, ensuring press speeds are always optimised
  • Ensure that assigned equipment is properly maintained and in safe operating condition
  • Perform routine maintenance on printing machinery.
  • Understand all documents related to the printing process and adhere to specification requirements.
  • Complete all related information related to each job accurately and on time.
  • Shift to Shift communication and handover.
  • Perform routine maintenance on printing machinery.

Experience:


  • Experience gained within a fastmoving manufacturing environment with knowledge of flexographic printing processes is essential, ideally in the corrugated industry.
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot printing equipment issues.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage your own activities and office workflow.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities and be able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • A focused individual with great attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
