Description
We are recruiting for an Administration Assistant to provide office support in a hands on environment.

You will be doing a variety of tasks, and will become an integral part of the office and wider business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is happy to take on a varied role.

A large part of the role will include duties for our auction house business, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.


General Duties

  • Sorting and distributing post and parcel deliveries
  • Reception duties, including answering telephones in a polite and professional manner
  • Administration support, such as typing, photocopying and filing
  • Opening files on new cases
  • Updating case management system with external costs
  • Sending reports to clients
  • Assistance to the finance department to include printing and getting external invoices authorised from case managers, collating receipts from company credit cards, raising sales invoices, pulling together payments runs. (Training for all finance department duties to be provided)

Auction House Duties

  • Running of internet platforms on auction days (Training provided)
  • Booking in customers to collect their items
  • Allocating payments, printing invoices and filing correctly
  • Liaising with the warehouse regarding courier collections, including communication with customers as to when their parcels are ready, and providing the warehouse with correct labels ready for courier collections.
  • Contacting customers to chase late payment
  • Excellent customer service skills to assist with registering customers, auction enquiries and customer issues.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria
Confident, willing to learn and highly motivated to work within a varied role


Desired Criteria
Experience of working in a customer facing role

Experience of dealing with customers on the telephone

Basic Excel skills/experience

Basic Word and Outlook skills/experience


Salary:
£18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
