Job Summary


We are looking for a passionate and proactive individual to join our fast-paced Finance team, helping to manage and maintain credit with new and existing customers.

  • Competitive salary depending on experience, £25,000 per annum (pro rata if working parttime)

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and release credit holds in coordination with our Credit Manager, Finance Manager and Sales Account Managers
  • Resolve customer queries and issues
  • Allocate cash and merchant transactions
  • Review and clear overpayments
  • Reconcile statements with customers
  • Identify opportunities to improve department systems and performance
  • Develop processes to improve effectiveness of department
  • Other adhoc duties as and when required
  • As the company culture promotes helping others, ad hoc tasks may be assigned to the job holder that are not listed above
Required Skills or Training

  • Good knowledge of endtoend Accounts Receivable processes
  • Knowledge and usage of credit referencing databases (Creditsafe, D&B etc)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to demonstrate improvement in collection performance in previous roles
  • Able to operate clear and systematic processes
  • Previous experience in a Credit Controller position
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised with good Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience in IT or similar industry (e.g. FMCG)
