It's an exciting time to join Gearset In the last few years we've rocketed from a 7 person start-up to nearly 240 people, and we're only just getting started.

We're working on building the best Salesforce DevOps solution on the market, and we're looking for a partnerships marketer to join our team and help Gearset to stand out in the market.

At Gearset, it isn't enough to talk the talk we're committed to educating stakeholders at Salesforce on the crucial role that DevOps plays in effective delivery.


Our Salesforce Partnerships Marketer executes campaigns with the aim to make as many people as possible aware of Gearset and our products within Salesforce's Customer Success Group (CSG).

This role exists to ensure Architects and Consultants within CSG have a positive impression of and a good understanding of the Gearset platform.

What's the opportunity for a Salesforce Partnerships Marketer at Gearset?:

  • We're looking for a Partnerships Marketer to help expand our reach and engagement with Salesforce employees
  • specifically focusing on Salesforce Architects.
  • As a part of the team looking after Salesforce employees, your goal is to understand each individual and their requirements, and connect them with the right people within the team. You'll be responsible for nurturing these relationships, ensuring that everyone has a great experience with Gearset.
  • This role sits within our Marketing team but requires close interaction with Sales, Product and Customer Success. It would be a great opportunity for someone with an understanding of how partnerships / partner marketing works, who is keen to work with a technical audience within the Salesforce organisation.

What you'll achieve:


  • Increase awareness of Gearset within the Salesforce organisation, inspiring Salesforce staff (including more technical folks) to become Gearset Champions
  • Support Salesforce employees by arranging educational sessions (Q&As, workshops, demos and presentations) about Salesforce DevOps, helping folks get started with the platform
  • Manage the full lifecycle of campaigns to increase awareness of Gearset within Salesforce from planning them, driving interest, producing educational content, and following up with Salesforce employees
  • Seek to understand what drives each Salesforce employee we interact with and connect them with relevant Gearset experts to meet their needs
  • Respond to all inbound inquiries from Salesforce employees exploring Gearset, nurturing these 11 relationships to ensure everyone has a great experience with the Gearset platform and our team
  • Support our presence at inperson events

About you:


  • Have previous partnerships / partner marketing experience, and are comfortable working in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience planning and executing campaigns via multiple channels from concept to follow up actions
  • Are peopleoriented, a strong communicator, with a passion for building longterm rapport with key strategic audiences
  • Can think creatively and design campaigns to grab the attention of technical folks at Salesforce.
  • Makes multitasking look easy prioritising tasks and staying organised is a breeze for you
  • Are always curious, and enjoy challenging yourself to find solutions to problems recognizing that asking the right questions can unlock new opportunities
  • Enjoy working collaboratively across departments, juggling the needs of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Understand that the people we work with influence customer decisions, and are committed to ensuring we effectively communicate what we do and how we can help their projects
  • Approach your work with pragmatism, prioritising action and delivering value to folks at Salesforce, over process and deliberation

Great to haves:


  • Previous experience working in the Salesforce ecosystem, ideally with technical folks like Developers and Architects
  • Interest in the Salesforce Platform and the nuances of how it works

Salary and benefits (the stuff you'd expect):

  • Salary is £45-56k (depending on experience)
  • You'll work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • This is a 12 month FTC, with the view to potentially become a permanent rol
