Are you an experienced Software Developer with an interest in Risk Management? This successful Hedge Fund with a strong focus on technology, is seeking a new Risk Technologist to join their team.


As a Risk Technologist using your skills in core Java, you will play a critical role in building a world-class platform for understanding and empowering decisions on risk, margin, performance, talent, and capital allocation.

This Hedge Fund is going through rapid growth and so, are developing new tools as the business grows. As part of the team here, you'd have the input to suggest new technologies and/or methodologies where appropriate.


What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and enhancing riskspecific analytics alongside the business
  • Working on both small
- and large-scale systems required to implement and inform decision making

  • Improving and supporting existing systems

What skills you'll bring:

  • Core Java experience
  • Middleware experience (ActiveMQ, Kafka)
  • Solid SQL/RDBMS experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to bring people together

What you'll receive:

  • The opportunity to work in a Hedge Fund in Glasgow (hybrid)
  • Salary of £60,000 £80,000
