Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Advisor formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

Responsible for tasks and duties across the full employee life-cycle this is a varied role contributing towards the goals and objectives of the HR team.


Responsibilities:


  • Serve as an HR business partner to the operation, facility, or a function's leadership team.
  • Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with respective business leaders and team leaders
  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to support and contribute to solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manages and resolves mid level employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations and is able to provide local employment legislation guidance.
  • Maintains indepth knowledge of legal requirements related to daytoday management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provides daytoday performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation, periodically reviewing policies and processes in line with legislation and best practice
  • Work with the recruitment team to manage resourcing for the UK, supporting managers in interviews
  • Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers and manages the full employee onboarding process.
  • Manage the payroll process for UK, collating, inputting and checking data on a monthly basis
  • Develops contract terms for international assignments, working with local HR representatives where necessary
  • Supports the HR Director with projects such as restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Identifies training needs for business units and works closely with training providers to deliver business critical training
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Provides support to respective business units in annual programmes such as Performance Management and Business Ethics
  • Responsible for ensuring integrity of HR data and reviewing monthly data audits
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience:


  • Strong experience resolving employee relations issues.
  • Solid working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and local employment laws.
  • HR experience in a global industry, technology or related service organization is desirable
  • Experience working in a decentralized, matrix environment with limited resources is desirable

Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience
