  • Would you like the opportunity to work with, and support, young people in Gwent?_
  • We are currently recruiting Assistant Cadet Leaders to support the NXTGen team in delivering our youth engagement programme. Our cadets are aged and, as part of an exciting programme, they engage in learning activities, take part in practical drills and provide youth representation for Gwent Police in the community._
  • As an Assistant Cadet Leader you will be trained by the NXTGen officers to undertake supportive work, such as facilitating sessions; providing advice and guidance; administrative support; supervision at events. _
  • Cadet units currently meet at the following times/locations:_


  • Monmouthshire

  • King Henry 8th School, Wednesday evening 17:1 18:15_


  • Torfaen

  • Vantage Point, Cwmbran, Tuesday evening 17:1 18:15_


  • Newport

  • Lliswerry High School, Wednesday evening 17:1 18:15_


  • Caerphilly

  • Cwm Rhymni High School, Tuesday evening 17:1 18:15_


  • Blaenau Gwent

  • Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre, Wednesday evening 17:1 18:15_
  • You will be vetted to NPPV Level 2 and required to complete a DBS check (at no cost to you)._
