Description

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for three dynamic professionals to join Northamptonshire's Integrated Care Board (ICB) System Co-ordination Centre.

We are pleased to offer a number of Resilience Operation Officer positions within the team:

  • 2 x 1.0 WTE (Permanent)
  • 1 x 1.0 WTE (Fixed Term, Maternity Cover to commence early 2024).

We'd love to hear from you if you're a self-motivated, highly organised and a versatile team player, an excellent communicator, committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care and service.

If you're keen to progress your career within the healthcare sector, then this opportunity is exactly what you've been searching for.

Working at pace, you will join the ICB's highly respected System Co-ordination Centre and work across a wide range of healthcare agendas including the ICB's:

  • Single Point Of Contact (SPOC)
  • Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC)
  • Vaccination programme (Covid, Flu and MRR)
  • Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR)

As part of the Integrated Care Board's (ICB) System Co-ordination Centre (SCC), you will be a first point of contact for system related matters.

You will be trained and supported to proactively manage all aspects of the SCC's work.

Single Point Of Contact (SPOC)

In managing the SPOC inbox, you will:1. receive, share and cascade information with our healthcare system partners;
2. collate, check and submit information to NHS England's region teams.

Surge Management

Operating within the fast-paced Surge environment, you will have oversight of information and live data, engaging in regular communications with system partners to understand and report their pressures, plans, and timeframes for the de-escalation of Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) pressures including the system's Operational Pressures Escalation Level (OPEL) status.

Vaccination Programmes

The SCC plays an important role in the planning, co-ordination and the delivery of the ICB's vaccination programmes.

Within this role you will build and maintain robust relationships with Primary Care Networks, community Pharmacists, Acute and Community Hospital Trusts and NHS England.

Emergency Planning, Resilience and Response (EPRR)

The SCC plays an important role in the ICB's delivery and maintenance of EPRR across the ICS as it supports the development and implementation of statutory requirements and arrangements relating to the ICB's preparedness, and resilience to, significant incidents and emergencies.

The Integrated Care Board (ICB) is a statutory body responsible for local NHS services, functions, performance and budgets.

It is directly accountable to the NHS and is made up of local NHS trusts, primary care providers, and local authorities.

The ICB is responsible for joining up care services to improve patient experience in the community.

The Board includes a chair, the chief executive and representatives from NHS organisations, primary care (GPs) and local authorities (councils).
