Elmleigh is our acute adult mental health inpatient unit in Havant where our multidisciplinary team offer high quality recovery focussed care to adults with a range of mental health disorders.

Elmleigh has 34 inpatient beds across two wards

We now have an exciting opportunity for an Activity Co ordinator to join the team at Elmleigh.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, resourceful, and resilient individual who is committed to providing support and assistance to patients in their recovery whilst an inpatient at Elmleigh.

As an Activity Co ordinator, you will be part of the OT team supporting the team by offering a variety of recreational activities to the patients at Elmleigh, under the guidance and support of the Occupational Therapists.

The role will involve running a mixture of group and 1:1 sessions. This post is full time working 37.5 hours a week. The hours will include working weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

The successful post holder will need excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with staff, service users and all stake holders.

The ability to prioritise changing work demands is essential.

As such, we support with a diverse range of training opportunities, releasing staff to attend courses and conferences that support their appraisal objectives and develop the service.
