This position will be supporting a team of senior analytical managers within the NHS England Analytical Service, to provide strategic analysis for insight into NHS performance and evidence to support decision-making.

Functional management accountabilityfor a nationally hosted NHS system.


To be successful in this role you will need to have previously worked in a Healthcare Environment and be-able to demonstrate an understanding of datasets and data sources including the quality and reliability of the data.


Demonstrable working knowledge of the following: Business Analysis, Business improvement process, Business modelling, Design Specification, Effort Estimation and Planning, Understanding Working Experience on Agile Development Methodologies.


This will be an exciting role and some previous projects within this team are as follows,modelling future levels of hospital activity and production of a tool to help support local areas for long term planning; evaluating the success of new ways of deliveringcare to patients as part of the delivery of the NHS Five Year Forward View; analysis to understand the drivers behind cancer waiting times; analysis of the drivers behind the growth in GP referrals; and modelling to support the Maternity Review including developmentof a model for understanding and planning midwifery workload.
