Job
As Head of Sales, you will work closely with the CEO. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales department in order to meet revenue targets.

At the outset, you will join the team on the sales floor to build momentum before you transition into a purely managerial capacity; responsible for the hiring, training and leadership of the sales team.

As manager you will also collaborate with the marketing and content teams in order to align sales and marketing efforts and by extension you will represent the brand by attending industry and networking events in order to identify new business opportunities to help drive revenue.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales department and ensure the team meets its targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Close deals and lead the team when dealing with clients, partners and stakeholders
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and pipeline activity

You will have:


  • Experience in publishing, media or events with a focus on sponsorship sales
  • A proven track record in a leadership role during your sales career
  • Experience in closing deals of £30K£60K with C-Suite stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the B2B content production industry

Opportunity
This role is based 5 days a week in their Farringdon office with a base of £70K-£90K (~£200K OTE).
