Job Title:
Front Loading Shovel Operator

Location:
Waterlooville, Hampshire

Role Overview:

As a Front Loading Shovel Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to move and load materials on various construction sites.

Your role will be critical in ensuring the efficient and safe execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate front loading shovels to move, load, and handle materials such as soil, gravel, and aggregates.
Ensure precise and efficient operation of the equipment, following project specifications and instructions from site supervisors.
Perform routine maintenance checks and report any equipment issues or malfunctions.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth project workflow and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

Valid CPCS A21 or A68 certification, or NPORS equivalent for operating front loading shovels.
Proven experience operating front loading shovels in a construction or earthmoving environment.
Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety procedures.
Excellent handeye coordination and spatial awareness.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay:
£17.00-£20.00 per hour
