Are you an Accounts Senior looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to work within a leading firm of chartered accountants in West Malling?

TPF Recruitment is working with a fantastic chartered accountancy practice based in West Malling to recruit an Accounts Senior to join their talented team.

As an Accounts Senior, you will play a pivotal role in preparing limited company, partnership and sole trader accounts, Corporation tax computations and returns, Vat and management accounts, personal and self-assessment returns.

Youll work with a variety of software including IRIS, Xero, Sage, QB, DEXT, Auto-entry, and other programs as needed.

You will be responsible for:

Managing your own portfolio of clients
Preparation of financial statements
Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
Preparation of Personal Tax Returns
Preparation of bookkeeping and VAT returns
Assisting junior staff members with their work where required
Dealing with client queries and advisory projects
Assisting Partners as necessary, with existing and new client queries

Requirements*- Suitable applicants for this Senior Accountant role will be any of AAT, ACA, ACCA qualified or qualified by experience, with a career background in accountancy practice, working within a small or medium firm background and/or, Top 50/ Mid or Top Tier firm experience.

You will be likely operating around Accounts Senior level, or similar, delivering accounts and wider ranging accountancy practice services to a client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients, across a wide spectrum of industries and turnover levels. Benefits*- £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.

For this fantastic Accounts Assistant opportunity in Maidstone, you will have - 3 years or more experience within practice, preparing accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

You will be looking for a challenging, long term career move, at Accounts Assistant level, within a growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants, offering progression and career development.

Salary:
£35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
