Mechanical Maintenance Craftsperson

Location - Kent

Salary - £49k - £55k basic + Annual bonus,Company Pension Scheme, Private medical healthcare, Social and Sports club and Gym Membership**
Permanent Position

Alecto Recruitment is in partnership with a highly successful Manufacturer based in Kent, who are actively looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Craftsperson to join their existing team.

The Role

Responsible for working on a wide range of mechanical and thermoprocessing equipment
Responsible for the safety, legality and quality of all products and processes within the remit of the role.
Responsible for the legal duty of care owed to employees and others.
Previous manufacturing experience is essential
Responsible for understanding the relevant requirements of the health and safety policy.
Able to balance complexity with speed of implementation
A willingness to learn new things

What we are looking for

Be a timeserved Craftsperson ideally with an HNC in Mechanical Engineering
Have at least 2 years' experience in a heavy manufacturing and/or hot metal processing environment
Hold a comprehensive knowledge of the construction and maintenance of heavy manufacturing and processing equipment and able to carry out risk assessments
