Our client is searching for someone just like you to join their team at their office in
Penrith, Cumbria

Position: Part-Time Purchase Ledger Assistant:


  • Industry: Accountancy
  • Rate £12£14/hr PAYE DOE


  • Duration

  • Approx 12 weeks
  • Hours: Standard 22.5 hours/week, with more during peak periods
  • Workdays: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Weeks 13)
  • Ideally you will have 5 days availability during monthend (Week 4)
Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with a half-hour for lunch)

Key Responsibilities:


  • Handling the processing of invoices and purchase orders
  • Ensuring accurate reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Playing a crucial role in monthend financial tasks
  • Collaborating with the finance team to streamline financial operations

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Assistant
  • Proficiency in Sage 200 and Construct Accounting Software
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Job Types:
Temporary contract, Part-time

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
£12.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Penrith: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- purchase ledger: 4 years (required)

  • Sage 200: 4 years (required)
Construct Accounting Software: 4 years (preferred)
