Salary:
Up to £56,816 depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

Facilitating monthly and quarterly programme level reviews, providing efficient delivery Senior level reviews
Conducting monthly reviews of programme wide operational and financial performance information, and ownership of the programme review packs
Ensuring consistency is applied across all reporting activities and reviews including lessons learnt and continuous improvement
Supporting analysis of programme information for monthly business reviews
Taking ownership for implementing a range of project management related improvement initiatives across the programme contract teams
Taking ownership of the programme project management plan ensuring it remains topical including supporting stage gate reviews and in line with the relevant governance
Line management for two direct reports and acting as deputy for the Programme Manager at formal reviews
Facilitate effective stakeholder management across a complex programme scope of work

Your skills and experiences:

Essentials

The ability to present data to varying level of stakeholders
The ability to identify and understand stakeholders' requirements
The ability to interpret and synthesise information
The ability to establish working relationships and collaborate

Desirable

Project management qualification or equivalent experience
Good working knowledge of uptodate business processes

The Project Management Office team:

The Project Management Office team are working on a large 10-year programme supporting the delivery of Typhoon and Hawk aircraft.

This is a fast-paced team, where no two days are the same.

It'll be supporting the full project lifecycle through production, delivery and ongoing support.

The team are in a period of change and looking to make improvements on efficiencies and effectiveness, meaning you will have the chance to shape some of the role.

It provides cross functional exposure and there is potentially progression routes within the business.
