Description
Provide administrative support to the Clinical Effectiveness Team including the Mortality Coordinator. To support some national audit projects and undertake basic analysis and other administrative duties. The post holder is required to work as part of a team committed to improving patient care

The main duties will be completing administrative tasks and supporting the wider team.

To be proficient in Microsoft packages especially Outlook and Excel.

To use NHS Electronic patient records system and other software systems

Taking minutes and arranging meetings

  • To support the team with administrative tasks that are required, Requesting healthcare records and using the Trusts tracking system.
  • To collate and submit audit data into national systems for mandated national audits such as MINAP, Heart Failure, TARN and others as required.
  • To assist with the NICE guidance process by assigning guidance to the clinical leads and adding the responses onto the AMaT system
  • To provide secretarial support to various corporate meetings including taking minutes, organising the meetings and collating papers.
  • To undertake Trustwide monthly clinical audits
  • To provide support for the NCEPOD process with photocopying/extracting details from electronic systems and healthcare records.
  • To provide support for level 3 audits by way of completing information requests and updating AMaT.
  • To assist with organising clinical effectiveness events
  • To provide support to the wider team when required
  • To undertake basic analysis when required

Mortality:

To provide secretarial support to Mortality Surveillance Group including taking minutes, organising the meetings and collating papers.

Assist as required to prepare and type the Structured Judgement Review reports
