Description
Due to our ongoing expansion a position has become available for an accounts administrator to join our team.Duties Include:
- Matching Purchase Invoices, supplier PI, statements, and remittances
- Processing credit cards statements
- Assist in supplier payments at the end of each month
- Reconciliation of both the purchase and sales ledger
- Update and maintain supplier/customer details on sage
- Process statutory returns (VAT & CIS)
- Bank Reconciliation
- Understanding of VATs codes
- Understanding of the nominal ledger
Skills and experience:
- Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role
- A methodical and orderly approach to work
- Precise and accurate with good numeracy and written skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Familiar with the Construction Industry Scheme would be an advantage and understanding of VAT Reversal
Position available with immediate effect
