  • 37 hours per week, term time plus 4 weeks working 42 weeks per year

  • We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral and Welfare Officer to join our team at the University Collegiate School, Bolton. As a Pastoral and Welfare Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safeguarding and wellbeing of our students.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver interventions to support students facing challenges
  • Provide counselling and mentoring to students in need
  • Act as Head of Year overseeing the pastoral care of a specific year group
  • Work closely with staff and parents to address students welfare concerns
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of welfare policies and procedures
