Software Engineer - Hertfordshire/Remote - £45,000 - £65,000 pa

An Electronics manufacturer are looking for multiple Software Engineers to join their R&D team as they are shifting their focus to more Software defined products.

They are looking for a Mid - Senior level Engineer who is looking for somewhere to grow and develop.
There is a direct progression path to a Lead position in the future.

They can offer almost fully remote working, you might only need to travel to the office around 1 or 2 times a month maximum.


Responsibilities:


  • Write new services/drivers to expand product capabilities
  • Maintain and de bug existing code
  • Help with System Architecture design
  • Write code documentation
  • Assist in testing

Key Skills/Experience:


  • Degree (or higher) in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering or another relevant discipline
  • C/C++
  • Linux/Unix
  • GitHub/GitLab

Any mix of the following is nice to have's:

  • C#
  • Robotics/Optics
  • System Architecture
