Our small and friendly resilience team are looking for a Resilience Officer to help provide advice and expertise on emergency planning and business continuity.


Responsibilities include supporting and testing corporate and department plans, responding to 24/7 emergencies, and working closely with multi-agency partners as part of the Local Resilience Forum.

There is no typical day so you'll need to be comfortable with routine changes, juggling tasks and prioritising work.

You could be working with a department on their business continuity plan, preparing and delivering training or an exercise, undertaking projects for the Local Resilience Forum or responding to an emergency.

English Fluency:

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post (for those whose language is a signed language the provision of a sign language interpreter who speaks English to the necessary standard of fluency will be required).
