St Thomas's Nursery in Oakwood and we're currently seeking a qualified enthusiastic practitioner to join our team

We're based in a church hall and are the centre point of the community and have cared for children in the area for over 20 years.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who ideally has experience working in a nursery and is ready for a new opportunity.

We're a fast paced pack away nursery and we require an extraordinary, full time practitioner to join our small team The nursery is located in the heart of Oakwood, close to transport facilities and local amenities.

  Essential criteria_

Hold a relevant Level 2/3 qualification in childcare
Have a comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS to undertake responsibilities of a key person and able to:
Observe, assess and record children learning through an online Learning journal. Write reports including 2 year checks and transition reports

Planning engaging activities taking place both inside and outside for 2-4 year olds, some with additional needs

Understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection issues

Demonstrate a good level of written and spoken English

Able to communicate effectively with parents when necessary

We're a pack-away nursery, so work alongside staff to un-pack and pack-away the nursery and undertake cleaning
