About the role:


  • As an R & D Category Assistant at Reckitt, you will thrive in our fastpaced environment alongside a team of expert scientists dedicated to ensuring product safety and efficacy. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in supporting technical dossier management and analytical lab compliance.

Your responsibilities:


  • Day to day execution of analytical testing in conformance with all relevant safety and quality requirements.
  • Understand and contribute to appropriate key performance indicators.
  • To ensure that relevant data is checked, approved, recorded and available for inspection in accordance with Good Manufacturing & Good Laboratory Practices.
  • To understand and follow all necessary Health & Safety systems and ensure that all work is consistent with safe working practices.
  • To ensure cGMP compliant delivery of their activities.
  • Identify and escalate focussed improvements to activities within their section where viable.
  • Provide support to Regulatory Authority inspections as required.
  • To ensure individual activities are aligned with those of the wider Mucinex team and analytical laboratory.
  • To deliver assigned tasks as required to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicator targets
  • To ensure that equipment and systems issues are escalated promptly to appropriate analytical team.
  • To communicate issues effectively and appropriately to ensure timely resolution with all relevant parties whilst maintaining the positive image of RB and the Mucinex team.
  • Ensuring audit readiness is maintained.

The experience we're looking for:


  • Degree level qualification, preferably in a Chemistry, Bio-Chem or Life Sciences discipline
  • Knowledge and Understanding of HPLC in a working environment
  • Experience of working within a laboratory in an analytical capacity
  • Good communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • High level of accuracy in working practices with close attention to detail.
  • The business language in Reckitt is English, therefore fluency in English is essential and fluency in local languages advantageous.
