Description

This is a senior position responsible for overseeing all operations at the Leeds Depot, consisting of operational managers, drainage engineers, planners, and business admin support.

Responsible for all contracts, commercial and private works, liaising with clients ensuring excellence in quality, safety, and customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high standard of HSEQ performance at the Leeds depot and with the operations teams. Actively lead the Jet Aire Group's health and safety culture and be an ambassador of JASafe Always.
  • Ensure the service delivery and financial performance of planned and reactive works, providing class leading customer service and excellent client relationships, working in collaboration with partners and internal departments.
  • Develop and maintain internal relationships with Sales, and other operational departments, to help ensure growth opportunities are realised and delivered.
  • Understand and manage financial performance in line with the Leeds budgets, track and report on variances and proactively review to meet, or exceed, KPI's and targets.
  • Analyse data and reports, and proactively act on resource requirements, variances and business / client needs while showing a thorough understanding of business acumen.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service and lead the underlying behaviours and attitudes that contribute to delivery.
  • Oversee the programming and delivery of work from the Leeds depot, liaising with other depot operational managers to ensure effective and efficient working, and utilisation of Leeds resources.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven experience within an operational environment at management level.
  • Developed commercial and financial understanding, with the ability to understand influences and impacts on costs / revenue.
  • Ability to lead a team, communicate effectively and grow a high performing operational team.
  • Management qualification and relevant industry qualifications desirable, and / or relevant industry experience.
