Description
Global Air Supplies Ltd. (G.A.S) is a horticulture and ventilation expert. From designing and producing purpose-built environmental control equipment to working with some of the manufacturers around the world. G.A.S is searching for individual with WordPress and HTML experience to join it's Marketing Team. The role is a full time, fixed term position based in Rotherham, England.


The Marketing Assistant will work with the Marketing Manager and other team members, contributing to and developing integrated marketing campaigns for Global Air Supplies and other associated brands.

They will be responsible for a wide variety of marketing activities including (but not limited to): website development, SEO, social media, copywriting, and marketing admin.


Main Duties

  • Taking a brief or design concept and bringing it to life.
  • Listening to feedback from key stakeholders and making adjustments.
  • Managing and implementing SEO strategies to build and maintain online rankings, including keyword research, content, and implementation.
  • Copy writing for both online and offline mediums.
  • Creation, posting and tracking of engaging content for social media with a focus on Instagram.
  • Support with the coordination and delivery of events.
  • Undertake general administrative tasks.
  • Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials.
  • Assisting the Marketing Manager and other team members when needed.

About you:


  • Skilled in HTML/CSS/SCSS
  • Knowledge of SEO strategies best practices
  • Skilled in the use of various web development and design software packages including WordPress
  • Experienced in SEO and SEM
  • Ability to use and create content across social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
  • Experience of social media management software such as Hootsuite or Metricool
  • Experience of Adobe Creative Cloud software including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Premier Pro
  • Strong organisational skills and good time management
  • Willingness to be flexible and accept new challenges

Hours:

Monday - Friday 36.5 hours per week


Job Type:

Full time, 12 months fixed term (maternity cover). 3-month probationary period.

£20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Education:


  • Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)

Experience:


  • Digital marketing: 1 year (preferred)
  • Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
