Description
Secondment opportunity / fixed-term for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave.


We currently have two, 12 month fixed term, opportunities available for an HR professional to work within the Operational HR Team; to support the provision of guidance to managers and staff across the full range of the human resources function.

Both part-time and full-time hours will be considered for both posts available.

There will also be the requirement to participate on a rota to support the HR Connect Helpdesk.


To support the development and implementation of modern employment processes and practices whilst maintaining effective operational service and assisting effective partnership working.


Assist other members of the HR team in developing, preparing and facilitating training and awareness sessions on HR policies and legislation for managers and staff across the organisation.


In order to be successful within this role, you must have previous experience operating at this level and hold excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

The ability to manage complex HR situations is essential.


You should be educated to degree level and/or equivalent level of experience in an generalist operational HR role, preferably within the NHS or a similar large organisational setting.

You should be in possession of or working towards CIPD membership.
