The Client


Our client have grown into one of the largest family-owned businesses specialising in building services that can carry out multiple mechanical and maintenance services to a multitude of high profile and lucrative buildings and clients.


Project values range up to over £6 million across a wide range of sectors including fast track CAT A & B fit outs including new and refurbishment offices, health and welfare, leisure, retail, historic and sound studios.

Even though their projects are gettinglarger they work hard to ensure that clients at every level are serviced whilst maintaining a user-friendly approach and attitude to client focus.


The Role

  • Maintain the LR/SR/NG filing system.
  • Upload documents to the Client eDMS.
  • Issue documents via dropbox where no eDMS is in use.
  • Check the validity of the documents in accordance with the Client or Companies Numbering System.
  • Download and distribute comments received and chase site team for responses.
  • Maintain excel trackers for Tech Subs, RFI's, Drawings.
  • Download and distribute received information including but not limited to Specifications, Drawings, Schedules and CVI's.
  • Take minutes for internal handover meetings for new projects.
  • Regular site visits to provide onsite support where needed.
  • Provide general admin support i.e printing, filing, document typing/editing.
  • Assist in compiling CV's and Case Studies at the end of each project.
  • Ad hoc duties for Department Head and Senior Management Team.

The Person

  • Minimum of 3 Years Document Control experience is required.
  • Understanding of electronic document control systems such as Asite, Viewpoint, Procore or Aconex is preferable.
  • Knowledge of construction industry processes/ terminology is preferable.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent IT Skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The capability to manage their own time and meet deadlines.
