Trainee Management Accountant
Job Overview
The FP&A team are recruiting for an ambitious, motivated and enthusiastic individual as a
Trainee Management Accountant to support our department and our key operational
stakeholders. This role is interactive, requires drive and determination to continually improve
CIMA qualification.
**Main Activities/Tasks: - Assist in the preparation of the annual budgets, monthly forecasts and key
management financial reporting to the functions of the business.
- Responsible for the reporting of Departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- Responsible for producing monthly journals.
- Assist with year accounts and Audit preparation
- Maintaining and improving systems and procedures to support effective budgetary
- control.
- Preparing financial reports and information for management reports, grant claims,
- statistical returns, etc.
- Proactively embrace and support the development of a business partnering model
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships will all key stakeholders
Essential Criteria:

- Recent graduate (Accountancy/Finance min 2.1)
- Studying towards CIMA qualification
- At least 1 year's work experience in a finance role
Desirable Criteria:
Due to the nature of the role preference will be given to applicants demonstrating the

- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Able to work as a member of a team and to perform effectively under pressure to
