Advanced Care (NI) is one of Northern Ireland's fastest growing social care providers, with 15 years of experience providing care & support to service users in their own homes and in supported living settings, working primarily with the Northern Ireland health Service as well as various charities and non-profit organisations across the region.
The Role
Due to rapid growth in 2022 & 2023 we are looking for an Payroll & Accounts Administrator to join our team to work closely with our office staff, carers and service users to ensure that the payroll & accounts functions run as efficiently and accurately as possible.
The role of the Accounts & Payroll Administrator includes:
Payroll- Processing of weekly payroll for 250+ employees including staff hours, sickness, parental leave, holiday pay calculations, pensions enrolment, processing expenses, additions & deductions, bank files, weekly & monthly reports, weekly & monthly HMRC submissions.

Credit Control
- Working closely with Ops & clients to ensure that credit control processes are proactively followed, debtors remain at acceptable levels & cashflow is managed effectively through communication with clients & reporting to Director of Finance.
Invoice processing:
- Processing & distributing monthly invoices for individual clients using our rostering system & accounts software, liaising with clients, colleagues and Director of Finance.
Other:
- Any other duties as required to assist the Director of Finance & HR e.g. Systems maintenance, adhoc reporting, process improvement, employee/client communications, general administration as required, audits etc.
Essential Criteria:
- Successful completion of an Access NI background check
- Strong IT skills
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Extremely well organised and details oriented
- Strong working knowledge of payroll processes
Desirable Criteria:
- 1+ year experience in payroll processing or HR
- 1+ year of experience in accounts/bookkeeping, credit control or similar
Pay:
£24,960.00-£30,860.00 per year
