Sales Ledger Controller - £25,000 - Full Time - Office Based

REED Accountancy and Financein Norwich are delighted to be working with a Norwich City based client who now, after a period of expansion, find themselves needing a
Sales Ledger Controllerto join their close-knit finance team.


The salary on offer for this role is up to £25,000 (Full time equivalent) and Part-time hours will be pro-rata.


Responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and reconcile sales ledger accounts
  • Banking, cash postings, and posting to the ledger in the accountancy software
  • Be involved in all aspects of Credit Control and debtor reporting
  • Process all credit references for new customers in accordance with company procedures
  • Verify and receipt all income against sales invoices
  • Take all cash and cheques to the bank as required
  • Monitor and review credit accounts
  • Completion of ad hoc financial accounting tasks
  • Ad hoc duties to assistant the Management Accountant and Financial Controller
  • Previous Sales Ledger or Credit Control experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload and take initiative
