Sales Ledger Controller - £25,000 - Full Time - Office Based
REED Accountancy and Financein Norwich are delighted to be working with a Norwich City based client who now, after a period of expansion, find themselves needing a
Sales Ledger Controllerto join their close-knit finance team.
The salary on offer for this role is up to £25,000 (Full time equivalent) and Part-time hours will be pro-rata.
Responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:
- Maintain and reconcile sales ledger accounts
- Banking, cash postings, and posting to the ledger in the accountancy software
- Be involved in all aspects of Credit Control and debtor reporting
- Process all credit references for new customers in accordance with company procedures
- Verify and receipt all income against sales invoices
- Take all cash and cheques to the bank as required
- Monitor and review credit accounts
- Completion of ad hoc financial accounting tasks
- Ad hoc duties to assistant the Management Accountant and Financial Controller
- Previous Sales Ledger or Credit Control experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage workload and take initiative
