We are recruiting for a Sales Co-ordinator to join our team based at our manufacturing facility in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.Who we are
Tracey Concrete is a precast concrete manufacturing company supplying precast concrete products throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.
Products manufactured include Jacking pipes, spigot & socket pipes, manhole chambers, cover slabs, caisson rings, preformed perfect bases and more.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Sales Office Manager and working in our customer-centric Sales team, you'll be partnering external sales managers by:
- Processing sales enquiries.
- Answering phone calls from customers and dealing with problems as they arise.
- Taking quotation requests and transforming them into customer quotes.
- Following up quotes with customers and our external sales managers.
- Communicating daily with our internal and external sales managers.
- Coordinating with our accounts and despatch teams.
- Providing necessary data or reports.
- Arranging appointments with clients and the sales team.
- Updating customers' contact information.
- Dealing with customer complaints and resolving or escalating issues.
What you'll need to succeed
- Organised and efficient, able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Mathematical confidence.
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Selfdriven, results orientated with a cando attitude and positive outlook.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
