Job Title:
Senior Consultant, Public Affairs (Wales focus)

Location:
Cardiff, Wales, London (Remote options available)


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage public affairs campaigns in Wales with help from the Head of Planning, with a focus on policy development and stakeholder engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in Wales, including politicians, government officials, and industry leaders
  • Develop and deliver presentations and training on public affairs topics to clients and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities in Wales, through the identification of potential clients and the preparation of proposals
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Public Affairs team through the sharing of knowledge and best practices

Requirements:


  • Between 25 years of experience in public affairs, with a focus on policy development and stakeholder engagement in Wales
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex issues to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and training to clients and colleagues
  • Proactive and selfmotivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team (yes, you shall have the London office and trips to the Capital but a majority of the time you shall be able to work remotely with the benefit of a London salary)
  • Proficiency in Welsh is preferred, but not required
