Due to expediential growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity and are recruiting for a
Grounds Maintenance Team Leader who has a can-do attitude who will join an existing team working across multiple sites in and around Farnborough.


Job Purpose


As a
Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a small team ensuring the maintenance of the grounds are at the specification of the client.

You will provide support to the line manager in relation to the team's compliance of company procedures and policies as well as ensuring that the requirements of the client and the specification are fully met for the enjoyment, recreation and safety of the sites, employees and visitors.

You will be working 'hands-on' with a small team of gardeners to provide a top-class horticultural environment for our clients.


Skills and experiences:


  • Selfmotivated with the ability to confidently work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence is essential
  • Passionate about the environment with a keen eye for detail.
  • NVQ or Diploma Level 2 Horticulture / Landscaping (or equivalent) preferred, but not essential


  • Spraying Certificates

  • NPTC PA1 &PA6 preferred, but not essential
  • Experience in Landscaping / Grounds Maintenance preferred, but not essential
  • Ability to implement Health & Safety requirements to ensure safe working practices to enable smooth running of works on site
  • Experience with
    ride on grass cutting equipment preferable but not essential.
  • Experience with using petrol two stroke grass/hedge cutting equipment is preferable, but not essential.
  • Flexible in approach to work and willing to work outside in all weathers.
