Lead for Recovery Education, Children and Young people, Band 7


Dorset Wellbeing and Recovery Partnership (WaRP) is a formal partnership between Dorset HealthCare and Dorset Mental Health Forum (a local peer led organisation).The partnership brings together lived experience of Trauma, Mental Health issues and Emotional Distress with professional, clinical, and learned expertise.

The vision of our partnership is for Dorset to be a place where people can thrive in their communities and be valued for who they are as citizens with all of their diverse experiences.


This exciting new role has an important part to play in the ongoing transformation of Mental Health Services in Dorset.

Recovery Education sits at the heart of our partnership and has value in both an individuals' personal development but also the cultural development of teams and organisations promoting a greater focus on personal Recovery.

The WaRP co-run several projects including the Discovery Project, Recovery Education Centre, Retreats, Dorset Open Door and Dorset Work Matters.

This is a permanent position, 22.5 hours per week.
