London, UK with requirement to travel internationally on consulting projects.

What You Will Work On

Business development

  • Assist in the generation of new security and crisis management consultancy opportunities in the UK & rest of Europe and globally in support of CSC's new business targets.
  • Assist with the development and pricing of RFPs and client proposals.
Consulting services delivery

  • Deploy to client offices throughout UK & Europe and/or other overseas locations to support delivery of CSC's preincident consulting services (such as risk assessments, policy/plan development, PSAT, incident & crisis management planning and other projects).
  • Support in the project management/oversight of preincident consulting projects and programs.
  • Support the project management of thirdparty subcontractors delivering CSC's preincident consulting services including coordination of deployments and general administration (NDAs, contracts etc.).
  • Support the production of relevant documentation/deliverables in line with CSC's best practice doctrine and methodology.
Account management

  • Support client liaison and account/client relationship management of new and existing consulting clients.
Administrative

  • Maintain and/or oversee accurate accounting records as directed, keeping Salesforce and any other platforms used by Crisis24 up to date and accurate in relation to relevant accounts and proposals.
Other

  • Support the wider Crisis24 and Garda business as required.
Who You Will Work With


Internally:

Crisis24: Immediate CSC team, Associate Consultant Team, and management, wider Crisis24 team, GardaWorld team/s in Europe and globally, corporate functions.


Externally:
Clients, information sources and third-party providers & subcontractors.

The Consultant will report to the Associate Director (UK & Europe).

These responsibilities will be monitored and managed through the company performance management review cycle and regular monitoring of performance against KPIs throughout the year.

Core accountabilities are support to the development and delivery of consulting opportunities and services; execution of defined administrative tasks; participation in company performance management cycle.

What You Will Bring

  • Relevant academic background / qualifications (incl. but not limited to International Relations, Geopolitics, Counter Terrorism or similar).
  • Minimum 3 years' previous experience in a relevant field, such as intelligence, analysis, research, operations center support or another commercial environment.
  • Extensive travel experience globally including in high threat / hostile environments.
  • Competent skills with officebased software; MSOffice.
  • Second European language an advantage.
  • Must be invested in own development: willing to develop a high level of industry knowledge and awareness of geopolitical and security/crisis management issues and trends and prepared to study towards relevant qualifications (CsMP, PsP or other).
