We are a property maintenance and refurbishment business based in SW London. We are looking for full time Multi-skilled tradesman / Handyman to work within our rapidly growing team. Our clients are a combination of businesses, property groups and private landlords in South West London.

The Role

You will be undertaking reactive & planned maintenance, moving from job to job throughout the day / week.

You will be working primarily in residential properties across South West London and must be able to carry out the following types of work:

Preparing / making good properties as and when they become vacant for relets.
Painting & decorating. Must have a strong background in painting and decorating.
General carpentry. Must have a strong background in carpentry.
Basic plumbing & electrical duties.
Fixing / replacing locks.
Flooring and tiling.
General handyman skills.

The Applicant

The successful applicant must have at least 5 years' experience as a Multi-skilled tradesman / Handyman.

You must also meet the following criteria:

Be competent and skilled any qualifications welcome.
Have good organisational skills.
Excellent time management.
Customer focused and a friendly 'cando' attitude.
Produce work to a high standard and a good eye for detail.
Be able to think on their feet, problem solve and make decisions.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Good communication, customer service skills and able to act professionally at all times.
Flexible on working extended hours as and when required.
Be prepared to work job to job.
Provide uptodate and accurate feedback to the office.
Own hand tools / power tools.
Own vehicle and clean driving licence.
Will need to pass a CRB check.
Previous work references will be required.

The role is for an immediate start. Training will be provided with regard to our systems and procedures.

Salary:
£35,000 - £39,000 per year (depending on experience), with on target earnings of upto £48,000 based on meeting performance targets.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm. Uniform included.

The successful applicant will be on a 6 month probation period on a day rate basis, after which, if successful, will become a permanent employee, along with 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.

A government pension scheme will also be offered.
